ACTIVE Network to Establish New Global Headquarters

SAN DIEGO --(Business Wire)--

ACTIVE Network announced today that the Company, after an extensive search evaluation, will be relocating its global headquarters to Dallas, TX, in a move to establish centers of excellence, recruit and retain future talent, and position ACTIVE Network for continued growth. This transition is scheduled to take place over the coming year and is expected to create a significant presence in Dallas.

"We see Dallas as an opportunity to centralize our location as we expand globally, recruit great talent, and increase our operational excellence. We look forward to working with the City of Dallas, Dallas Regional Chamber, and the State of Texas in building the next chapter in our company's history."

The transition to Dallas from the current San Diego, CA (News - Alert) headquarters location will begin now through 2015. ACTIVE will retain a San Diego, CA presence. ACTIVE Network plans to gradually transition its current Irving, TX employees to the new downtown Dallas location.

"ACTIVE Network will be a welcome member to our growing economy that is creating many highly skilled technology jobs."

In support of the Dallas community and as a reflection of its heritage, ACTIVE Network has committed to being the presenting sponsor of the upcoming US Open Triathlon, being held in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area, and inviting employees to participate in the event on behalf of its well-known ACTIVEx Charity Challenge program. ACTIVE Network expects that up to 100 Dallas-based employees will participate in the event this October and will raise charitable funds for Kids in the Game, a 501c3 that provides children in local communities with the opportunity to participate in sports. In 2013, ACTIVE Network employees raised funds for Kids in the Game to help more than 1,869 underprivileged children participate in a sports team, league, or class.
