Channel cans Gareth Cliff's TV show [Cape Argus (South Africa)]

(Cape Argus (South Africa) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) COMEDY Central has canned former radio host Gareth Cliff's TV show, the Gareth Cliff Show, a month and a half after it was launched, according to the Channel24 website yesterday.

The internet radio programme shown on TV reportedly failed to attract enough viewers wanting to listen and watch Cliff on the DStv pay-TV platform.

The final show would air on Monday.

Comedy Central said it was a "mutual decision" to end the show's run. It would still be working with Cliff on other projects. - Sapa Cape Argus (c) 2014 Independent Newspapers (Pty) Limited. All rights strictly reserved. Provided by SyndiGate Media Inc. (
