Media General has the Lowest Revenue Per Employee in the Publishing Industry (MEG, LEE, MNI, GCI, SSP)

Mar 08, 2013 (SmarTrend(R) News Watch via COMTEX) -- Below are the three companies in the Publishing industry with the lowest Revenue Per Employee (RPE). Analysts use RPE as a measure to compare the productivity of companies in the same industry.Media General ranks lowest with a an RPE of $94,000. Lee Enterprises is next with a an RPE of $116,000. McClatchy ranks third lowest with a an RPE of $158,000.

Gannett follows with a an RPE of $164,000, and EW Scripps rounds out the bottom five with a an RPE of $183,000.
