Ambient Corp. Launches 2 New Smart Grid Nodes

Oct 05, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Ambient Corp., provider of a smart grid communications and applications platform, announced the launch of two new smart grid nodes: the Ambient MicroNode and Ambient MiniNode complement the existing Ambient Smart Grid Node, which has been enhanced with more grid analytics capabilities.

According to a release, the Ambient Smart Grid Node family now provides utilities with even greater choice for management of multiple smart grid applications through a single infrastructure that utilizes an open IP-based architecture.

John J. Joyce, President and CEO of Ambient Corp., said, "Bringing these new products to market offers our customers a very effective solution for achieving their grid modernization objectives. By optimizing implementation and operational costs, these new products are designed to fit today's needs and tomorrow's challenges.
