'Germany sees IPTV users grow to 536,000 in 2008 - survey'

The number of German IPTV customers has grown to 536,000 at the end of
2008, according to a survey by German ICT industry association Bitkom.
At the end of 2007, the number of German IPTV customers amounted to
170,000 with the growth driven by Deutsche Telekom's IPTV service
Entertain that had 500,000 customers by the end of 2008. For 2009,
Bitkom expects higher growth driven by the introduction of flat screen
HD TVs with integrated internet possibilities.
